Our Rates
In a Nutshell:
The payment scale for GOE Tutors is as follows:
$225/hour for tutors with a doctorate or other advanced credentials
(author/ Professionally-Endorsed Consultant/ National Teacher Hall of Fame/etc.)
$175/hour for tutors with two master's degrees
$150/hour for tutors with a master's degree and a decade of instructional experience.
$125/hour for tutors with a bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of instructional experience.
The Reasoning Behind Our Rates:
In our area, the average professionally-licensed, master tradesman will charge an individual a minimum of $75 to show up to a home to help with a problem, and then that same tradesman will charge a MINIMUM of $150/hour. All of the GOE tutors not only have the experience needed to be deemed experts in their fields of study (and in teaching, so that's two areas of expertise), but also a minimum of one academic degree in support of their expertise. Most GOE tutors also have a minimum of one master's degree, with many having two advanced degrees, and some even have doctoral degrees and/or other accolades. So, because of the amount of experience GOE tutors must have to even be considered for the post, they are paid--at minimum--what any master tradesman would be paid for his/her services.
